大久保卯月
写真家、現代アーティスト。社会に潜む境界によって生まれる個人の違和感に関心を持ち、仮説を立て、観察、実験、そして考察という実験的アプローチを用いて、主に写真を使って平面や立体作品を制作している。近年は写真と記憶の差異に着目し、写真という記録媒体としての曖昧性を、写真をミシンで縫い合わせる縫合写真や、即興的印刷を行ったリソグラフ、AIを使った生成拡張と立体化などの手法で研究している。

Uzuki Okubo
Photographer and contemporary artist. With a keen interest in the discomfort born from societal boundaries, Okubo employs an experimental approach involving hypothesis, observation, experimentation, and consideration to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works primarily using photography. In recent years, due to a sense of discomfort from the discrepancies between photographs taken and personal memories, Okubo has been exploring the ambiguity of photography as a recording medium. This exploration includes techniques such as sutured photos sewn with a sewing machine, impromptu printing using risographs, and AI-generated extensions and three-dimensionalizations.
